Thanks went to all staff in managing to raise £3,182 for charity throughout 2009, £500 more than last year.

Record total for charity quiz

ORGANISERS of a popular charity quiz night have thanked members of Preston’s business community after this year’s event raised a record amount for charity.

Taylor Patterson is welcoming entries to its popular annual quiz night. The charity quiz – traditionally attended by hundreds of city centre professionals – will this year raise money for the North West Air Ambulance and Miles of Smiles, and will take place on November 4 at the
Masonic Hall, Preston.

Each year the Charity Committee organise a Charity Quiz Night to raise money for nominated charities. This year the nominated charities are North West Air Ambulance and Miles for Smiles.

Charity Wimbledon Cake Baking Day

Taylor Patterson held a Charity Cake Baking Day on Monday 29th June 2009. The competition was open to all employees and all donated cakes were decorated with a Wimbledon theme, which were then sold on the day.

Congratulations went to Joanne Bramley who won first prize. The total amount raised for our two nominated charities was £26. Thank you to all those who took part.

1st July 2009 - Taylor Patterson Charity Football Tournament - The Result!

What an exciting event the charity football tournament on Tuesday 16th June 2009 at Fylde Rugby Club proved to be. There were great goals, good players, large crowds, hot and sunny weather, extra time, a penalty shoot-out, players being sent to the sin bin and even a sending off
and this was only the semi-finals and final!

1st June 2009 - Taylor Patterson Charity Football Tournament

Taylor Patterson are organising a charity 5-a-side football tournament on Tuesday 16th June 2009 from 6 pm onwards at Fylde Rugby Club
in Lytham.

The Charity Committee would like to announce the chosen charities for 2009 as follows: -

North West Air Ambulance - The North West Air Ambulance (NWAA) is a unique regional medical air emergency service covering Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside and Cumbria.

23rd January 2009 - £3,000 charity total for financial advisers

CHARITY minded staff at Taylor Patterson, the Preston financial advisory group, raised a total of £3,182 for charity during 2008.

The funds will be split between local charities, North West Air Ambulance, Christie's Cancer Hospital, Derian House, St Catherine's Hospice and St Mary's Hospital, Ulverston.
