OUR SERVICES > Engineering

Independent inspection and assessment of plant and machinery is both important and required by law; it prolongs the working life of the equipment and is essential to proactive workplace health and safety. We arrange inspection services for many types of systems and equipment including:

  • Lifts, cranes and other lifting equipment
  • Pressure vessels and pressure systems
  • Electrical systems, plant and appliances
  • Power presses and other machinery
  • Local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems

With our knowledge of different classes of engineering insurance and sectors, we provide advice on, and arrange, a variety of insurance policies for contractors’ plant and equipment, machinery movement, computers and electronic equipment, machinery, and unforeseen damage and breakdown, business interruption and deterioration of stock.

To complement such inspection services and insurance arrangements, we also have access to consultancy solutions such as energy management and certification, water hygiene and legionella assessments, asbestos surveys, and various forms of testing, ranging from noise to indoor air quality.
